About AnimeQuiz
A free, independent place for anime fans to test their knowledge, discover which character they are, and settle debates — one quiz at a time.
What Is AnimeQuiz?
AnimeQuiz is an independent, fan-made website built for one simple reason: testing what you know about your favorite anime should be fun, fast, and free. We started with a handful of trivia quizzes and grew into a full library of 1,550+ questions across 31 popular series — from Naruto, One Piece, and Jujutsu Kaisen to Death Note, Frieren, and Blue Lock.
Everything on the site is free to play, and you never need an account to start. We don't hide quizzes behind signups or paywalls — creating a free account is optional, and only unlocks the leaderboard, saved scores, and streak tracking. Our goal is to be the most enjoyable and reliable anime quiz site on the web, whether you're a casual viewer or a hardcore fan chasing a perfect score.
How We Make Our Quizzes
Every quiz on AnimeQuiz is built and organized by fans who actually watch these shows. Here's how our content comes together and how we try to keep it accurate.
Hand-crafted trivia
Each series has 50 questions sorted into five categories — characters, plot, abilities, world & settings, and quotes — and three difficulty tiers, then arranged across 10 levels that get harder as you climb.
Checked against canon
Questions and answers are checked against the source anime and manga. Anime lore is deep and sometimes contested, so if you ever spot something wrong, we want to know — see "Accuracy & corrections" below.
Personality quizzes
Our "Which Character Are You?" quizzes use a weighted scoring system: each answer adds points toward different characters based on their personality, and your highest total is your match.
Fresh daily content
Beyond the main quizzes, we publish daily games — a character-guessing game, a daily character quiz, and an anime word-grouping puzzle — so there's always something new to play.

Accuracy & Corrections
We care about getting the details right. Anime canon spans hundreds of episodes, movies, and manga chapters, and mistakes can slip through. If you find an answer you believe is incorrect, an outdated fact, or a typo, please email us at harshathgm07@gmail.com — we review every report and update questions promptly.
AnimeQuiz is an independent, fan-made project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any anime studio, publisher, or streaming service. All anime titles, characters, and related material belong to their respective creators and rights holders. We reference them here purely to celebrate the medium and help fans test their knowledge.
How this site is actually made
Who runs AnimeQuiz
AnimeQuiz is built and maintained by one independent developer, not a content agency or a network. There is no editorial team to name and we are not going to invent one. That means every question, every guide and every line of analysis on this site came from a person who watches these shows, and it also means corrections reach the person who can fix them directly. You can reach that person at harshathgm07@gmail.com.
How a question gets written
Each anime gets exactly 50 questions, split 20 easy / 20 medium / 10 hard across five categories — characters, plot, abilities, settings and quotes. That structure is deliberate: it stops a quiz from being fifty variations of “who is the main character”, and it makes the ten levels ramp in a way that is actually felt rather than random.
Every question is checked against canon — the manga or the anime itself — before it ships, and questions about ongoing series are re-checked when a season ends and the canon moves. We do not source questions from other quiz sites, because a question copied from a quiz site inherits that site’s errors along with its wording.
Where a fact is genuinely disputed among fans, or where the anime and manga disagree, we either avoid the question or word it to specify which we mean. An ambiguous trivia question is not difficult, it is just broken.
The statistics we publish, and how they are calculated
We publish performance data drawn from our own gameplay — completion rates, median and average scores, how far players get before running out of lives, and which anime quizzes are hardest. Those figures come from 14,110 recorded sessions, aggregated and anonymous. No individual player is identifiable in anything we publish.
We hold ourselves to a minimum sample of 40 sessions before quoting a figure for any anime. Below that the numbers swing wildly and would be misleading, so we withhold them rather than publish something that looks authoritative and is not. Where a sample is small enough to be worth a caveat, we state the sample size inline so you can judge it yourself.
These are the only statistics of their kind we know of for anime quizzes, because they can only be computed by whoever runs the quiz. You can read the full breakdown in our analysis of what 10,000+ plays reveal.
Sourcing and corrections
Guides and blog posts cite their sources inline, and every factual claim — an episode count, a filler percentage, a release date — is checked against a primary or well-maintained source rather than written from memory. Where sources genuinely disagree, we say so and explain why instead of silently picking one.
If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Corrections are made to the page itself rather than buried in a footnote, and a question reported as incorrect is pulled from rotation while it is being checked, not left live in the meantime.
Advertising and independence
AnimeQuiz is free to play with no signup and no paywall, and we intend to keep it that way. The site is not sponsored by any studio, publisher or streaming service, and nothing on it is a paid placement. If and when advertising runs here, it will be clearly distinguishable from the quizzes and guides, and it will never influence which anime we cover or how a question is worded.
